"I applaud Mayor Bloomberg’s fiscal acumen and commitment to fiscal responsibility. I hope the city council is equally as responsible as the mayor by finally doing away with member items. As a city, we have many challenges ahead that must be met with the dedication to fostering an environment that will create jobs and make the city more affordable for taxpayers and small business owners.
